Aberystwyth has a theses collection which can be useful when you come to write your own. They are all on Primo, if you want to search for theses on a particular topic use the keyword disthes along with any other relevant keywords.

Requesting a thesis

Theses held in Aberystwyth University libraries are not available for loan - only for consultation in the library.
PHD theses may be available electronically via EThOS
Some other theses may be available via the Aberystwyth Research Portal
Where the thesis is not available online, AU Distance Learning Students, who are not able to visit the Library, can either:
- Request the whole thesis via inter library loan through your local library - for reference use only
- Request a chapter be scanned and emailed*

*Please complete the form in Primo and we will scan and email you a copy of the contents page of the thesis so you can select the chapter you would like sent to you.
